How we count

Asking rent
The monthly rent a listing asks, before any fees it names, for rentals active on the MLS today. These are asking rents, not signed leases: a home can rent for less after a price cut.
Median
The middle listing: half ask more, half ask less. A figure shows only when at least 5 listings are behind it.
Median days listed
How long the middle listing has been on the market so far.
Price cut, last 30 days
The share of listed rentals whose asking rent went down at least once in the last 30 days.
Allow pets
Of the listings that state a pet policy, the share that allow some pets.
